How to Get Rid of YouTube Auto Pausing
YouTube auto pause and resume are a new Firefox add-on which improves upon this feature introduced in version 4.0 of the browser. It will automatically pause and resume YouTube videos when you change to another tab. When you go back, the previously played video resumes to play. The add-on only play/resumes YouTube videos in the same tab where it was opened.
This is a nice feature, but it does have its downside. Auto pause works fine with normal web pages, but if you are watching a music video, the pauses do get reset to zero. To fix this, I recommend using YouTube add-ons such as Free HD Video Converter Factory or Restless TV. These free HD video converters are able to detect when the playback starts or stops and then save the entire video at that point in time. This way, the pausing and resuming feature of YouTube works perfectly.
The free HD video converter factory saves all YouTube videos in a separate folder. When the YouTube play button is pressed, this new folder will be opened. The Free HD Video Converter Factory then starts the process of converting your music videos into free HD quality. In most cases, the conversion is very quick and simple. The converted videos can then be enjoyed anytime without having to worry about YouTube pausing or stopping.
However, sometimes pausing and playing of YouTube videos can take more time than we expect. If you encounter this problem, I recommend using YouTube’s” apologizing” tool at the bottom right corner of the screen. When the tool is activated, it will ask you whether or not you want to accept the time delay before the next video starts playing. Click “accept” and then the videos start streaming without any delay whatsoever.
Why is YouTube pausing and playing my music videos so slow? It happens because when you click on the pausing option while your favorite music video is in progress, YouTube tries to process that particular video. Therefore, YouTube needs some time to open the data for the pausing feature. At the same time, some features of YouTube like the thumbnail view, latest video and search are not being displayed properly. So, you may not be able to see the most recent video updates.
How do I get rid of the YouTube auto pause? Fortunately, all is not lost. You can easily get rid of the auto-pause feature by following these simple instructions. First of all, you need to go to your YouTube home page and then click on the button titled “Settings.”
Click “Video Settings” and then click” paused.” Then, type a URL of the page where the YouTube auto pause was detected and click “OK.” To know whether the auto pause was accidentally disabled, you can click on “Preferences” found at the bottom of your YouTube main page. In there, you will find an option called “auto pause” which is the one we were talking about earlier. You can disable it by clicking on that option.
By the way, you may also want to adjust the volume levels of your audio and video players. If the auto pause functionality still does not work, you probably either have an older player version or the feature is not working with your current player. To do this, simply go to “Preferences > Sound,” where you can choose which players support the feature and which ones don’t. If you don’t know which version of your player is compatible with the auto-pause function, you can use the Help option available on the player itself to troubleshoot the problem.
