Is YouTube Back Up? Find Out Now!

So, is YouTube back up again? A lot of people are asking that question these days. After all, there was a whole lot of attention paid to this video site just a couple of months ago. There were reports of hacked user information and threats to YouTube’s servers. All seemed well until something happened between the FTC and Viacom.

Now that they are one company, things should be back to normal on the video site. It was one thing to have a hacker gain access to personal information about YouTube members. It was another thing to have that same hacker go after advertisers on YouTube. The two incidents caused a lot of consumers to ask “is YouTube back up again?”

The good news is, it is! But, there is an important reminder you need to understand before you begin using the site again. Before putting any of your valuable data, photos and videos on YouTube, you must take the appropriate amount of time to backup your system. It does not matter how long you took to backup your files; the fact is that once that backup is complete, you are essentially safe from hackers.

If you are still reading this, then that means that you are currently on YouTube. And that means that your data is not safe and you must take the necessary actions to fix the problem before anything too serious happens. That is all there is to it. I am not going to spend anymore time on this because you are already behind the problem.

The hard part is restoring your computer to its pre-loss status. Luckily, this is very easy to do. In fact, if you are careful with what you download and what you post on the site, you will not have to worry about this step at all! However, if you do download or upload anything that is suspect, you may run into some additional issues that are much worse than a bad video!

The reason for this is because so many people use YouTube as their main source of entertainment. Millions of people log on each day and use the site to view videos, music and other forms of media. For that reason, any computer with an internet connection is fair game to be hacked. It is also not uncommon for someone who works at YouTube to leave the website and take their computer with them. This is a very bad thing to happen because of how valuable information can be stolen through viruses and Trojans. You may think that you are protected by having a password on your computer but that is only protecting you from other people on the site.

The good news is that YouTube is more than adequate in preventing this from happening. Their site has a feature called the YouTube Backup Utility which makes backing up data very easy. All that you need to do is locate the “back up” button and you can restore all of your data from the hard drive of your computer in less than 60 seconds. This is just one of the reasons that I feel that YouTube is the greatest site for a person to get a reverse lookup for cell phone numbers because it is so simple and easy to use! When someone wants to do a reverse lookup on a number they should expect to have some results. But what happens when you don’t find the results that you were looking for?

The answer is YouTube has a feature called the YouTube Backup Utility. All that you need to do is find the “back up utility” on your YouTube homepage and click on it. All of your stored data is then backed up right on YouTube! So even if you lose your data, you won’t have to worry about restoring it because YouTube backs up everything! It is truly a wonderful feature that anyone should have access to!
